Xera Tech's 9W Semi-Integrated Solar Street Light (Glass Model) is a step up from the 7W entry model, offering slightly higher lumen output while retaining the same compact semi-integrated design. The LED fixture and battery are combined into one unit, while the solar panel mounts independently, giving installers the freedom to orient it for optimal sun exposure regardless of the pole direction.

How It Works

The separately positioned solar panel collects solar energy during daylight and transfers it to the inbuilt LiFePO4 battery through the MPPT controller. At dusk, the automatic light sensor triggers the LED. The system manages energy intelligently, dimming or activating the optional PIR sensor to extend runtime well into the night.

Ideal Applications

The 9W glass model is well suited for narrow internal colony roads, pedestrian walkways, panchayat lighting schemes, small park perimeters, and entry gates of residential societies. It provides enough illumination to ensure visibility and safety without being over-specified for light-traffic areas.

Why Semi-Integrated?

Semi-integrated lights are preferred in situations where the mounting pole does not face the optimal solar direction. By separating the panel from the light head, installers can angle the panel south (in India) while pointing the light head along the road — something all-in-one units cannot offer.
